Our corporate roots extend back to 1989, when Mike Coronado, our President, partnered with Jim Hammer to establish WestCor Framing in Las Vegas, Nevada. The company experienced rapid and substantial growth, evolving into the largest privately held framing company in Nevada. Keeping pace with the construction boom in Nevada, California and Arizona, WestCor Companies expanded to encompass several individual businesses, which together offer a complete array of construction and real estate services.


Evolving to meet our market’s needs.

Our first significant milestone occurred in 1998. Perceiving a growing need for specialized glass services, Mike Coronado formed Southwest Glazing as a division of WestCor Companies. The new company soon forged supply partnerships to deliver virtually any type of glass promptly, to meet the demand for quick turnarounds. Southwest Glazing has since expanded in-house manufacturing capabilities to include glass insulation and fabrication.


Expanding to California.

In 2000, Mike built on his success in Nevada to the Southern California market by opening a regional office for WestCor Framing. Growth came quickly and steadily, and in 2006, the company framed over 20 tract home projects in California for over a dozen builders. In 2007, over 30 more tract home projects were completed, while commercial and multi-family divisions were added. After successfully completing the NAHB Quality Assurance Program, WestCor Framing’s California division proudly earned NHQ certification – a distinction held by only a dozen framing companies.





Adding concrete and masonry services to the mix.

In 2002, after recognizing the obvious link between framing and concrete, Coronado Concrete was formed. Then, in 2005, Coronado Masonry was established. In its first 18 months, the company achieved impressive growth, expanding by more than 1,000% while gaining recognition from many of Southern Nevada’s top builders. Today, the two divisions are combined as Coronado Concrete & Masonry.

In 2004, All City Material Placement was created to deliver concrete and aggregate placement to construction sites of every scale. This includes residential, commercial and public works projects, for outside clients as well as ourselves.



Diversifying our offerings
with real estate services.

In 2006, WestCor Companies expanded its lineup with the formation of Mountain West Group, a full-service real estate company specializing in land, residential and commercial transactions. Today, Mountain West Group’s affiliation with WestCor Companies allows us to offer advantages unavailable from any other real estate brokerage.
